  4. What if Physical survey is not possible?Even if physical surveys are not possible, we provide a virtual survey. If virtual survey is not possible, we take detailed information over a call/message. This helps us provide you accurate charges and details for your move.

  • LAC Relocations owns the intellectual property rights on the website with regards to restrictions on terms and conditions. 
  • LAC Relocations reserves their right to refuse or reject any bookings of goods without assigning any reason.
  • Consignor/Consignee is bound to the contract of the Terms and Conditions developed by LAC Relocations.
  • All shipments are carried out entirely on owner’s risk. 
  • We strongly recommend Consignor or Consignee take insurance for any shipment irrespective of the volume or size in order to protect themselves against any or all risks.
  • LAC Relocations shall not be held responsible for internal damages to the contents of packages that are packed by owners (PBO) or damages to fragile articles, perishable articles by deterioration.
  • We strongly advise the consignor to take complete precautions before handing over the commodities as LAC Relocations will not be held responsible for loss, damage, leakage, breakage due to any natural calamities.
  • Clients are advised to consider that delay or damages caused due to any sudden Labour strikes, road and rivers hazards, civil or political disturbances, explosion, fire, or accident to the vehicle by which goods are transported or fire to the warehouse where goods are stored cannot be held against LAC Relocations under any circumstances.
  • As LAC Relocation’s clients, we assure you a swift delivery of your consignment. However, LAC Relocations will not be held liable for delays, damage, or losses that occurred as a result of conditions beyond the control of the company such as natural calamities, strike, lock-out, civil or political disturbances, explosion, fire, breakdown, or accident to the vehicle by which goods are transported.
  • Although we provide as accurate information to the client as possible. However, LAC Relocations cannot guarantee the timings for arrivals or departures as they are subject to change without notice at any time. Although the shipment shall be would be transported to the destination at the earliest possible. However, LAC Relocations shall not be held liable for any losses arising as a result of the delay in delivery for any reason.
  • Freight Forwarding and other charges if not prepaid are payable at the time of delivery. 
  • LAC Relocations has the right to hold the material against any past and present dues from the Consignor / Consignee.
  • If the consignee is unable to take delivery of the shipment, in that case, he must make sure to provide accurate contact details of the person responsible to accept the delivery. Once the person responsible takes the delivery, the remark mentioned by him/her shall be considered final. 
  • The Consignor is responsible to obtain and hand over the appropriate permit for transporting restricted goods via Air/Sea/Road to the Company at the time of booking. In case of failure, the Consignor/Consignee will be held responsible for consequences arising during such situation.
  • Delivery of the goods must be collected or rebooked within 7 days of its arrival destination. In case of failure, storage rent shall be charged for the period up to the date of dispatch by the consignee or consignor.
  • LAC Relocations shall not be held responsible in case the goods get detained or seized or confiscated by appropriate Government authorities.
  • Charges provided to the client will be based on the information provided by them. Therefore, we expect the information provided to be as accurate as possible in order to avoid additional charges at later stages.
  • In case of any unclaimed of shipment/property at LAC Relocations Warehouse for a period of 6 months, LAC Relocations shall have the right to remove, sell or dispose of the shipment through the means of public auction or private contract in order to recover the investment cost.
  • LAC Relocations moves the goods on the basis details mentioned by the consignor. It is the responsibility of the Consignor to provide necessary information with regards to the dangers, perils, hazards pertaining to the movement of the consignment (such as inflammability, reactions, dangers to life & property, etc.). In case at the time of transportation and handling, if an incident occurs, in that case, the Consignor is fully liable for all consequences arising due to misdeclaration of the contents of the goods. LAC Relocations shall have the authority to detain such shipments if there is a suspicion of such a wrong declaration. The Consignor shall be responsible to compensate LAC Relocations for any damages or losses caused by such a wrong declaration.
  • Any Damage/leakage/breakage/loss, if Any, must be informed on the day of delivery or within 7 days.
  • In case Insurance needs to be claimed, it has to be reported within 7 days from the date of delivery with complete clarifications.
  • We provide semi-accurate charges based on the information provided by the consignor/consignee before providing the service. Once the charges are approved, thereafter, final charges shall be provided before the delivery of the shipment. 
  • LAC Relocations shall reimburse any excess payment by the consignor or consignee with complete clarifications.
